Project PRISM

Project PRISM is our current research effort. At a high level, we are curious about why complex biological systems do not always respond the same way to related challenges.

A quiet research direction

We work across computation and the lab in stages the team can honestly carry on its own, learning as we go rather than promising a finished story too early.

The vision is long-range and careful: start with what we can do rigorously now, share progress thoughtfully, and leave deeper directions for when the work and the team are ready.

Public details stay intentionally limited while the science is still developing.

The curiosity

Similar disruptions can land differently across biological contexts. We want a clearer, more careful picture of that idea in neural systems, without claiming we have the full answer.

How we work

We combine analysis, modeling habits, and practical wet-lab work the team can run independently. Progress is staged. We commit to what is executable, then decide what comes next.

The posture

Ambition with restraint. We care about translational relevance over time, but we do not rush past what we can do responsibly as students.

Why the question is interesting

  • Biological systems can respond differently to related challenges.
  • Understanding those differences can surface useful scientific principles.
  • Neuroscience is a rich setting for that question because many layers interact.
  • Careful analysis and engineered experiments can help turn curiosity into testable work.

What we share publicly
